INVITATION TO SUBMIT BID PROPOSALS
Millican Pit Rock Crush Project; Contract No. 2020-03
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Crook County, through its County Court, will open sealed bids for the Crook County Millican Pit Rock Crush project on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 3 p.m. at the County Road Dept., 1306 N Main St., Prineville, OR. Sealed bids will be received until 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020, according to the official clock located in the County Administration Office. Each bid must be addressed to Judge Seth Crawford, enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as “BID” and the bidder’s name, project name, and contract number. Bids must be delivered on or before the deadline - by mail to Crook County Administration, 300 NE Third St., Prineville, OR 97754, or via hand delivery to Crook County Administration, 203 NE Court St. in Prineville. Final award will be announced during County Court at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Complete bidding documents that include the Supplemental Standard Specifications may be obtained at no cost from the Crook County Road Department at 1306 N. Main Street, Prineville, OR 97754, and/or by contacting Robert E. O’Neal, Road Master; Ph: (541) 447-4644; email: bob.oneal@co.crook.or.us, and is designated as the person to whom all inquiries regarding this project, this Invitation, and/or the Bidder’s Proposal must be directed.. Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the County's bid packet and accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond, payable to Crook County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Each bid shall be submitted in a lump sum amount. County Road Master Robert E. O’Neal is designated as the person to whom all inquiries regarding the project, this Invitation, and/or the Bidder’s Proposal must be directed. Crook County reserves the right to accept the bid and award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder which is in the best interests of the County, to postpone the acceptance of bids received and the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or to reject any and all bids received and further advertise for bids. No bids shall be received or considered by the County unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractor's Board and/or licensed by the State Landscape Contractor's Board as required by ORS 671.530. The bidder must identify whether it is a resident bidder under ORS 279C.365(h). This is not a public work contract subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 or if applicable, the federal prevailing rate of wage required under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 USC 276(a)).
