Notice is hereby given that the Crook County Planning Commission will hold a public meeting at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, to consider the following:

Record Number 217-25-000293-PLNG – Alexander Ranch, LLC (owner) and Acom Consulting Inc (agent) are proposing a telecommunication facility. The subject property is located on SW Williams Rd, north of Hwy 126 and is identified as map tax lot number 1514140000100.
 
The hearing is being held pursuant to: Crook County Code (“CCC”) 18.172 (Administration Provisions).
 
The application is subject to: CCC 18.16 Exclusive Farm Use Zones (EFU-3), CCC 18.124 Supplementary Provisions, ORS 215.283, ORS 215.275, and Crook County Comprehensive Plan.

A notice of public hearing and location maps were mailed to all affected property owners, and to the appropriate entities and public agencies 20 days prior to the initial evidentiary hearing. 
 
The deliberations will be conducted pursuant to CCC 18.172.081. Interested members of the public may provide written testimony in favor, opposed, or neutral to the application. Written testimony or comments may be submitted to the Crook County Community Development Department by email at plan@crookcountyor.gov and may also be submitted in person or by mail to 300 NE 3rd St, Room 12, Prineville, OR 97754.

Open record dates:

• 7-day open record period - Any person may submit additional written testimony - Due by February 18, 2026, at 4:00 PM
• 7-day rebuttal period - Any person may submit written rebuttal to testimony submitted during open record period - Due by February 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM
• 7-day Applicant final argument - Applicant's opportunity to submit a final written argument - Due by March 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM

 
Failure to raise an issue in the hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes an appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.

A copy of the staff report will be available at https://co.crook.or.us/planning-commission seven days prior to the hearing at no cost. A copy of the application, all documents, and evidence relied upon by the applicant along with the applicable criteria are available for inspection at no cost and copies will be provided at reasonable cost in accordance with the County’s fee schedule.
