Support Your Library

Volunteer with Us

Would you like to help Crook County Library offer services to our community? Consider applying to be a library volunteer. Library volunteers enhance – rather than replace – the work of paid library staff while helping us make the best use of our fiscal resources.

If you're interested in volunteering, contact our Volunteer Coordinator Kaila at 541-447-7978 ext. 310. You must be age 14 or older to volunteer. Volunteer applicants must undergo a background check.

Donations & Bequests

The Friends of the Library accept donations of books and some media; donations are sold through regular events and proceeds then support library programs and initiatives.

The Library Board and Director encourage gifts to the library consistent with the library's mission and policies. Donations extend and enrich library services and are not intended to replace regularly budgeted library expenditures.

The library accepts donations of books and other materials as outlined in the library's Collection Development policy. Materials not added to the collection typically are included in Friends of the Library book sales.

If you wish to honor or memorialize a person, give monetary or tangible gifts, or include the library in your estate planning, please contact Director Sarah Beeler at

(541) 447-7978 or sbeeler@crooklibraryor.gov.
